David L. Manz
David L. Manz is partner and owner of The Manz Law Firm. David received his Bachelor's of Science degree from Auburn University in 1981 and his Juris Doctor degree from Cumberland School of Law in 1984. David has been a member of The Alabama Bar since 1984 and a member of The Florida Bar since 1988. David has lived in Monroe County since 1988.
In addition to The Florida Bar and The Alabama Bar, David is also a member of the U.S. District, the 11 Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
David is a past Chair of The Family Law Section of the Florida Bar (2011-2012) and the former President of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (2010-2011), Florida Chapter.
David lectures and practices regularly statewide and has been heavily involved in the Family Law Section’s legislative agenda over the last several years.
David's Section and Chapter involvements include: Family Law Section Executive Council from 1996 until 2008; Family Law Section Secretary, 2008 - 2009, Treasurer 2009-2010,Chair Elect 2010-2011. David was Chair of the Equitable Distribution Committee, Family Law Section, 2006-2007. David has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers from 1997 until present. He served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Florida Chapter, 2007-2008, President Elect, 2009-2010 and President, 2010-2011. David also has served as Editor of the Family Law Commentator, Family Law Section, 1997-1998 and Chair of The Florida Bar Journal, Family Law Section, 2000-2001. David was a Member of the Florida Bar Marital and Family Law Board Certification Committee from 2001-2007 and Chair from 2002-2003. David also served as the Vice-Chair of the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee, 1994-1997 and was a Member of the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission, 2002-2004.

Michelle Klinger Smith is board certified by the Florida Bar in Marital and Family Law. Michelle is active in the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar. She is a member of the Executive Council. She is co-Vice Chair of the Legislation Committee. She is the Chair of the Marital and Family Law Review Course. Michelle is also active on Children's Issues Committee, Finance Committee, and Rules and Forms Committee of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar. Michelle has presented webinars in the area of board certification, updated Rule 12.285 pertaining to discovery in family law matters, and DOR parenting plans. Michelle has served as the Guest Editor of the Family Law Section's Commentator Publication. Michelle has also published an article in the Commentator.
